Our methodology

MDContour publishes only board-certified plastic surgeons and facial plastic surgeons. Every listing is checked against the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) or the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) before going live.

Surgeon verification

We confirm board certification, active medical license, practice location, and at least three independent public sources for each listing. Surgeons can claim and update their own profiles after a separate identity verification.

Procedure content

Procedure and injectable pages are written by our editorial team and reviewed for medical accuracy. Pages do not diagnose, prescribe, or recommend specific treatments.

Independence

Listings are not influenced by payment. Sponsored content, when present, is clearly labeled as such.
